Thanks for this Debbie. I love Ross Gay and his books on delight, which I think has a different flavor to it than gratitude. Delight seems broader, encompasses more. Hmmm.

Yes Emily! We talked about this on our Sunday night, about how delight feels more embodied, whereas gratitude can feel quite heady. Ross Gay's books are definitely on my TBR list now.

Oh absolutely! That's what I was thinking! I'm always looking for the consolation/desolation relationship and what a help this would be in doing that.
